McDonald's Boo Buckets Are Back… and My Inner '90s Kid Is SCREAMING!

halloween-banner

Some things just take you right back to being a kid, and McDonald's Halloween Boo Buckets are absolutely one of them!

Remember when getting a Happy Meal in October meant you got to take home a little plastic pumpkin or ghost bucket? Then you'd use it to collect Halloween candy, carry your toys, or proudly display it because it was basically your most prized possession.

Well, MY INNER '90s KID IS THRIVING RIGHT NOW! 🎃

McDonald's is bringing back its iconic Halloween Boo Buckets on Tuesday, October 20, and this year they're getting a Disney Villains makeover!

There are FIVE designs to collect:

🧡 Scar from The Lion King – Orange
🤍 Cruella de Vil from 101 Dalmatians – White
💜 Ursula from The Little Mermaid – Purple
💚 Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty – Green
❤️ Jafar from Aladdin – Red

Each one comes with your Happy Meal of choice and a sheet of villain-inspired stickers!

Maybe it's the nostalgia talking, but there's just something about seeing these buckets return that makes me ridiculously happy. It's a little piece of our childhood coming back, except now we're the adults who can drive ourselves to McDonald's and buy all five. ADULT MONEY, PEOPLE.

And now that I'm a mom, getting to share little pieces of my childhood with my own kid makes it even sweeter.

So yes, I'm counting down the days. Yes, I'll probably be making multiple McDonald's trips. And no, I will not be accepting judgment. 😂

When Could It Open?

Not so fast! The Grove City location is still in the planning stages and awaiting approval. No official opening date has been announced.

Miranda Lambert's iconic Las Vegas residency wardrobe is coming home to the National Cowgirl Museum & Hall of Fame in Fort Worth, Texas!

The museum will debut "Miranda Lambert: Velvet Rodeo" on November 7, 2026, as the first exhibition in its brand-new Icons Gallery.

The exhibit will showcase the one-of-a-kind outfits Miranda wore during her Velvet Rodeo Las Vegas residency, featuring Western-inspired designs, rhinestones, and a little Elvis Presley influence.

And here's a fun full-circle moment: the museum actually inspired Miranda's wardrobe! During a previous visit, she photographed historic Western pieces and shared them with her stylist to help create her signature Vegas looks.

"Seeing these pieces now have a life beyond the stage as part of the Museum's new Icons Gallery feels really full circle and special," Lambert shared.

Miranda, who is already a National Cowgirl Hall of Fame honoree, is also an accomplished horsewoman and active mounted shooting competitor.

The exhibition is part of the museum's 16,000-square-foot expansion, celebrating the history, accomplishments, and influence of women of the West.

"Miranda Lambert: Velvet Rodeo" opens November 7 in Fort Worth, Texas.

There’s a Lot of Life Left on Your Setlist ❤️

world-heart-day-banner

Every year on September 29, people around the world recognize World Heart Day, a day dedicated to raising awareness about cardiovascular disease and reminding all of us that taking care of our hearts matters.

For me, this day is personal.

If you've followed me for any amount of time, you probably know that the American Heart Association has become one of the causes closest to my heart. I've had the privilege of using my microphone, my platform, and our incredible Maverick Family to support the American Heart Association's mission, and I plan to keep doing so long after World Heart Day is over.

Why World Heart Day Matters

Cardiovascular disease remains the world's leading cause of death, and here in the United States, heart disease continues to impact millions of families.

But awareness can lead to action.

The American Heart Association reminds us that better cardiovascular health can lower our risk of heart disease, stroke and other major health problems. And some of the things we can do to protect ourselves and the people we love are surprisingly simple: know your numbers, move more, make heart-healthy choices and learn CPR.

That last one is especially powerful.

According to the American Heart Association, CPR performed immediately can double or even triple a person's chance of survival after cardiac arrest.

You don't have to be a doctor, nurse, EMT or first responder to potentially save someone's life.

You just have to be willing to learn.

Heart to Heart with Emyle ❤️

I call this Heart to Heart with Emyle for a reason.

I want this to be a place where we can have real heart-to-hearts about the things that matter — our families, our health, the people we love, the things we're going through, and the life we're still busy building.

But those conversations have another side, too: taking care of the heart that lets us be here for it all.

Because we can talk about chasing dreams, making memories, showing up for our people and living life BIG — but taking care of our heart gives us the chance to keep doing those things.

That's why heart health has become something I'm so passionate about and why I'll keep using my voice to talk about it.

Heart to Heart with Emyle is about the important stuff. The real-life stuff. And sometimes, that means reminding each other to know our numbers, make the appointment, move our bodies, learn CPR, and take our heart health seriously.

Because there is SO much life left to live. ❤️
