The Columbus Zoo's Wild New Upgrade

The Columbus Zoo is opening a brand-new expansion called the North America Trek on May 23rd—and it's massive.

We're talkin' 8 acres of new space, a $40 million price tag, and a bunch of new animal habitats, like Mexican wolves, bald eagles, black bears, and otters.

There's even a new wildlife conservation center where you can learn about native Ohio species like hellbenders and freshwater mussels.
